Three prizes are awarded each year at the annual meeting:
- HEPP Group Prize
The prize is made to an early career researcher (12 years since award of undergraduate degree, allowing for career breaks) for outstanding contributions to particle physics. A list of previous winners and their citations is available. - HEPP Group Science in Society Prize
The prize is made to early career researcher for outstanding contributions to outreach in particle physics. A list of previous winners and their citations is available. - Group Poster Prize
The prize is awarded at the HEPP Group annual meeting, to the best contributed poster(s) displayed in the poster session. A list of previous winners is available
The Nuclear and Particle Physics IoP Divisional prizes have been won by IoP HEPP members in 2011 (Christine Davies), 2010 (Guennadi Borissov), 2009 (Amanda Cooper-Sarkar), 2005 (Nick Jelley), 2001 (Mike Seymour).
