MINUTES OF RICH1 HPD COLUMN MEETING

Monday 11th December 06 Present: Bill Cameron, Dave Clarke, Trevor Savidge, Richard Plackett, Gabriel Vidal and Dave Websdale

U Channels

At AC precision, need to post them a big drawing as their plotter broken
Need to check to see if morden platers work over Xmas or have a long holiday

Bearings

DC to order 20 to take up to 32 and material for retaining blocks

End Pieces

Need 32, RP finalising drawings later this morning
As footprint is similar doesn't need to go in main model yet

Adaptor Plates

To fit RICH1 ladders into RICH2 BBQ, storage boxes, handling frame and SSB if required
Will be a plate bolting on to end pieces
DW provided correct length of 89.5+30+10mm extra HPD+end piece+tenon/rail
will make 14, enough for first Frame of ladders

Cooling Plates

Honeycombe shipped.
No news of glue

Rungs

16 back at IC to have holes drilled in them

Extraction Mechanism

There are issues with extraction rails clearing the HPD frames
Possible increase in size for the HPD box to allow column extraction mechanism to fit
Rods, will order 15m of 2mm stainless steel to make rods from
