The ATLAS Exotics programme: How we are organising the search for new physics for Run 3 and beyond

Abstract: In this talk, I will give an overview of the thinking and planning behind the search for new physics in ATLAS for the rest of the LHC lifetime. In particular, with the end of LHC exploitation on the horizon, how should we best use our limited time and resources to maximise our objectives? And what are our objectives in the first place?

I will hence divide the search programme into two categories (the "flagship" programme and the "speculative" programme) and lay out how, in ATLAS, we plan to make best use of new analysis techniques, new detectors, and the expertise of our community.
