Abstract: B physics is an important field for testing the quark sector of the Standard Model and for searching for New Physics. A central topic is the study of CP violation, which is a necessary ingredient to explain the matter–antimatter asymmetry of the Universe. CP violation manifests itself in various ways. In this presentation, we categorise decay modes according to their underlying dynamics, providing a guide to the study of CP violation across different classes of processes. Within this framework, we highlight recent key results, review current theoretical developments, and discuss their implications for ongoing and future studies of CP-violating observables.
