Wilf Shorrock
I am a third year PhD student at Imperial College London. I joined the T2K Collaboration in December 2017 and since then I have (amongst other things):
- assisted with the beam test of the Super-FGD prototype at CERN;
- performed several analyses with the test beam data, including a channel time resolution analysis;
- helped coordinate and implement the overhaul of the ND280 Software by renaming packages, migrating to GitLab and converting from CVS to CMake;
- started work on implementing a global fit for 3-neutrino oscillations in the GAMBIT software;
- and acted as run coordinator for the neutron beam test of the Super-FGD prototype at LANL.
You can find a blog I wrote on my trip to LANL here.
My office at Imperial is Blackett 530. Feel free to drop by, or email me at w.shorrock17@imperial.ac.uk.
I'm currently working from home due to the COVID-19 pandemic but can be contacted by email or by phone.
