• Facility space and shielding requirements
• to allow enough space for Phase-II (manipulators, extra shielding) to be secured for Phase-I construction

• Urgent beam line modelling work

• needed by rest of collaboration for design finalisation
• detector and beam line optimisation
• software readiness for data and physics studies

• Beam line detector physics design

• needs to be defined soon to coordinate with rest of COMET

• Joint effort which requires accelerator physics, particle physics and engineering expertise to be coordinated
