TFB Introduction
The TFB is based around the Trip-T chip developed at FermiLab for the
D0 detector. There are 4 Trip-Ts on the TFB, each one instrumenting 16
input channels.
Everything on the board is controlled from a single Spartan 3 FPGA. The
interface to the upstream DAQ electronics (the Readout Merger Module -
RMM) is done through a custom serial interface operating at 100MHz
describe in the next section. Data are digitised through the use of 2
dual channel ADCs, each channel serving a single Trip-T chip.
