Level Summary
CCT=CERN Costing Tool
- Level 1 - Building.
- Should correspond to Level 3(or 4) in CCT.
- Level 2 - Module.
- Cryo-module level detail. Each unique module should have costing info and this would correspond to the next level in the CCT PBS.
- Level 3 - Component.
- This is the beamline element level, i.e. magnets, cavities, diagnostics, etc. Values in columns "Other Parameters" onwards are MADX parameters.
- Level 4 - Tracking details.
- Additional details relevant for tracking simulations. E.g. coil details for G4bl.Values in columns "Other Parameters" onwards are G4bl parameters.
- Level 5 - Other components.
- Additional components for costing. E.g. Specialised services, valves, etc.
- Level 6 - Costing details.
- Info for costing.
General Notes
Objects after level 1 and before first level 2 object must be > level 4.
- Placement at entry not centre.
- The size of things like solenoid and rf cavity refer to field volume. Real size of solenoid * should be reflected in the size of the cryomodule. A separate object can be created at level 5 to specify the physical size of the magnet etc. as a function of the field volume size.
Variables should be specified in AccelParams sheet.
- E.g Use a variable to specify the lengths of the cryomodules
G4beamline Specific Commands
Specific commands for G4BL (e.g. setting the colour of objects) can be provided at level 4 in the columns "Other Parameters" onwards. Below is a list of recognised keywords to be used for the column "Type":
- monParams - parameters for virtual detector command.
- rfParams - parameters for pillbox command.
- solParams - parameters for solenoid command.
- coil - parameters for coil command. First parameter must be coilname.
- tubs - parameters for tubs.
