The CMS GCT - The Global Calorimeter Trigger of the CMS experiment, currently in operation at CERN
Stacked Trackers - A tracker design which is potentially capable of producing trigger primitives in real time (at the LHC crossing rate)
IPbus and µHAL - IPbus is a control-bus for CMS trigger upgrades, originally by University of Boston, but developed by Imperial College, London, and the University of Bristol. µHAL is a set of firmware components and a software library which allow the user to go from an unprogrammed board and a clean linux installation, to being able to control a board in under an hour. µHAL has been written by, and is maintained by, Imperial College, London, the University of Bristol and CERN.
The MP7 processor card - A 0.9+0.9 Tb/s (TX+RX) optical stream-processing card in a µTCA form-factor designed and developed at Imperial College, London.
Time-multiplexed and spatially-pipelined triggered - An alternative trigger architecture, developed at Imperial College, London, which overcomes many of the difficulties in a conventional trigger architecture.
